Carl Garrett of Foristell, Missouri passed away on September 28, 2019, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Garrett nee Schwier. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda (Bob) Nickell of Jackson, TN, Kelly Garrett of Foristell, MO; son, Stacy (Carole) Garrett of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren, Joshua (Alycia) Nickell, Jake (Sydnie) Nickell, Jordan Nickell, Ian Garrett, Colin Garrett, Amanda Garrett; great-granddaughters, Lydia and Hayden Nickell; He is preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Garrett; mother, Hannah E. Garrett; wife, Shirley Garrett; and seven siblings. Carl and Shirley cherished 58 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2015. Carl had an over 30-year career with McDonnell Douglas. He was an avid history aficionado and enjoyed researching Lewis and Clark and the Civil War. Carl also loved to bird watch from his deck. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
