Steven Alexander Chandler, 24, passed away September 23, 2019, at his home. He was born May 4, 1995, in Kokomo, the son of Jeffrey & Jean (Rogers) Chandler.
On April 5, 2014, he married Dixie Davis, and she survives.
Steven graduated from Eastern High School. He served with the United States Army with the A-1-79 1st Platoon "Reapers" and attained the rank of SPC.
Along with his wife, Dixie, Steven is survived by his parents, Jeffrey & Jean Chandler, his 4 Children, sister, Sarah Chandler, and grandmother, Loretta Chandler.
Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Allison Chandler, and grandfather, Thomas Chandler Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Kokomo, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
