In 1961 John married his childhood sweetheart Pauline Wowk. The couple had 2 children John Henry Jr. and Kristi Delucca.
John proudly served 21 years in the U.S. Army. He was an infantryman, a member of the 1st Calvary and served in Vietnam. John retired as a Master Sergeant.
In mid 1999 John & Pauline moved into their retirement home in Surprise. John was a good neighbor and friend to those that lived near him. He organized many activities for his neighbors in the Pinnacle. A key one was the monthly men's breakfast. It was a hit with all of the guys and was well attended.
John will be missed by all that knew him.
