WALTER LEWIS
Services for WALTER LEWIS, 82, formerly of Freeport and Nashville, who died Saturday, July 1, at the Barry County Medical Care Facility, will be held Wednesday at 1 at the Vogt Funeral Home in Nashville.
Rev. Lester DeGroote will officiate with burial in Freeport Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 10, 1896 in Baltimore Township, the son of WILLIAM and BELLE (ROUSH) LEWIS. He worked for the Royal Coach Co. in Hastings and was a member of the Nashville Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, MRS. ARTHUR (BEATRICE) WEBB of Battle Creek; six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister, MRS. FRANK (GLADYS) MOORE of Battle Creek, and six brothers, HARVEY of Hastings and LAWRENCE, FLOYD, LLOYD, HENRY and HARRY all of Battle Creek.
