Mr. Richard Steven (Steve) Conner, age 66, a resident of Wingo, Passed away at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his residence. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and a retired mechanic from Driver Motors. He is survived by his wife; Vicki Overby Conner, three daughters; Kim Kirkpatrick, Mayfield, Tara Adkins, Mayfield, Sasha Conner, Raleigh, NC., one son; Wes Murphy, Hickory, a brother; Shane Conner, Mayfield, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; Walter R. "Dick" Conner and his mother; Dorothy Anderson Conner. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. As per his wishes, Steve donated his body for scientific research. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
