Kasmer Mastel, 61, of Linton, died Friday, 1 Jun at Linton Hospital after an illness of 2 months.
Bron in Emmons Co., on 27 Oct 1917, to Frank and Marian (Scherr) Mastel. He married Theresa Gefre on 21 Oct 1941, at St. Aloysius Church SE of Linton. They farmed until retiring in Nov 1976, moving into Linton.
Survived by his wife; 2 sons, Dennis of Hague, Allan of Bismarck; 4 daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Jeanette) Bosch of Bismarck, Mrs. Rodney (Helen) Wagner and Mrs. Ronnie (Marcella) Wagner, both of Washburn, Brenda Mastel of Hague; 5 grandchildren; 4 brothers, John of Linton, Leopold of Aberdeen, Bill of Bismarck, Frank of Edgeley; 2 sisters, Mrs. Barbara (Bernhard M) Gefroh of Linton, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Ibach of Billings, MT. Preceded by a son, 2 brothers, 1 sister.
Services were held Monday, 4 Jun, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Linton, burial in church cemetery.
Pallbearers were James, Dan, Gary and Eugene Gefroh, Isadore Mastel and Francis Hummel.
Kraft Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
