Kenneth Gene Hash of Nelsonville passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. He was born June 28, 1928 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Gentry Bane and Liddie Ellen (Evatt) Hash. He was a retired farmer and a member of Little Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Robie N. Hash; one son, 1st Lt. Jonathan P. Hash; one daughter, Vida Ellen Bargo; three brothers, Jamie Hash, Paul Hash and J.V. Hash and four sisters, Dorothy Locklin, Gladys Hash, Emma Powers and Sharon Ventress.

Survivors include two sons, Terry L. Hash (Mary) of Smithville and Kenneth Daniel Hash (Sheila) of Rockdale, Texas; one sister, Elsie Brazeal (Bob) of Mountain Home; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Sammy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery at Nelsonville.
