Walter S. Sanders, father to Brian and Marc (Adrienne) grandfather to Madison and Julia passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
During his lifetime, he developed a successful accounting practice with his wife of 49 years, Linda. He was a generous contributor in finance and volunteer hours for a variety of Jewish organizations both in the Bergen County area of New Jersey and the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, including Hadassah, UJA, Daughters of Miriam, the Fair Lawn Jewish Center and Congregation Kol Ami. Walter was a strong supporter to the fine arts as well, generously donating and serving The Straz Center for Performing Arts, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Mahaffey Theatre and Carrollwood Players.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday September 29, 2019 at 3:00pm at Congregation Kol Ami at 3919 Moran Road Tampa, FL 33618.
Internment (Graveside Service) will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery at 3527 E County Line Road Lutz FL
Minyan Services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday October 2 & 3 with arrivals beginning at 7:00 pm and service beginning at 7:30 pm located at the home of Marc, Adrienne & Julia Sanders in Tampa, FL.

Donations to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts (1010 N.W.C McInness Place Tampa, FL) and Carrollwood Players (4333 Gunn Highway Tampa, FL 33618) will be gratefully accepted in Walter’s name.
