Mildia Burnetta Lowe Bailey, 92, of Asheville, died Wednesday in an Asheville hospital. A native of Madison County, she had lived in Buncombe County since 1947. She was a daughter of the late Silas Jackson and Mary Louise Rector Lowe. She was the wife of Curtis Hascue Bailey, who died in 1981 and the mother of the late Glen and Paul Bailey. Also prededed in death by her sisters; Dorothy Beachboard and Nora Nelson and her brother, James Lowe.

Surviving are nine daughters, Bertha Dockery, Margaret Crowder and Gladys Huffman of Asheville, Louise Meeker of Arden, Dorothy Lee Brown of South Carolina, Earlene of Cleveland, Tenn., Dollie warren, Ruby Ellege and Faye Clement of Alexander; four sons, Grady and Albert Bailey of Old fort, Everett Bailey of Candler and Howard Bailey of Phoenix, Ariz.; five sisters, Rena Fulghum, Nellie Conner, Evelyn Zachary and Alice Jackson of Asheville, Azalee Emiliano of Lodi, N.J.; 62 grandchildren, 48 Great grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the chapel of Anders-Rice funeral home. The Revs. Charles Sprinkle and Howard Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
