Evelyn Emma Rich, 102, of Dixon, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Dixon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Dixon, IL.
Evelyn was born, May 20, 1917, in Bloomer, WI, the daughter of William and Lela (Burke) Rihn. She married Lloyd Donald Rich on February 24, 1945 in Dixon. Lloyd preceded her in death on November 30, 2007.
Evelyn was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church, Dixon Elks Lodge #779 and the Dixon Country Club. She enjoyed traveling, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Nancy) Rich; two daughters, Rhonda (Ron) Julin and Kathy (Ken) Sandstrom; six grandchildren, Danielle (Steve) Bauer, Joshua Rich, Erin (Johnny) Horvath, Corey (Bibiana) Julin, Lauren Sandstrom and Lindsey Sandstrom and 6 great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Elizabeth and May and three brothers, Ted, Robert and Paul.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday, September 27, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dixon. Funeral service will be 11:00 am at the church with Reverend Joseph O'Donnell officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, IL following the service.
