On Sept. 26, 2019, Bonnie Rae Mallory departed this life peacefully in the care of her granddaughter, Carrie Ruark.
Mallory was born May 26, 1934, in Spink, S.D. She enjoyed genealogy, as well as being a part of her com- munity as a council member of Everton and serving as mayor, which she loved.
Mallory was a recognized volunteer at the Dade County Library, where she donated her time for over 40 years. Mallory was a member of the Everton Presbyterian Church. She also organized the annual Everton Picnic. She was the matriarch to her family and always made sure they were taken care of.
Mallory is survived by: daughter, Patricia Mallory (Richard) Lagergren of Parkvillle; son, Allen R. (Kara) Mallory, of Ash Grove; six grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren.
Graveside services were Sept. 28, at Sinking Creek Cemetery. A celebration of life was held at Everton Community Building. Services were under the direc- tion of Birch Funeral Home in Ash Grove.
