Born Jan. 12, 1972, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Rodney L. Henry Sr. and Carol (Brown) Henry, of Reedsville, who survives. Also surviving are: a maternal grandmother, Shirley Brown, of Lewistown; children, Colton Schrek, of Lewistown, Erin L. Henry, of McVeytown, Rodney L. Henry III, of Reedsville, Lacee Henry, Cassie Henry and Destiny Henry, all of Lewistown; siblings, Kelly A. Crawford, of Reedsville and Kenneth R. Henry and wife, Tammy, of Lewistown; several nieces and nephews and three great nieces he cared deeply about.
He worked at Penn State University, State College, and was a 1990 graduate of Indian Valley High School. His love for sports led him to positively influence our youth by coaching baseball and youth football, securing a state title as an all-star baseball coach and a player as well. The family wishes to thank the community for all the support during Rodney’s illness.
