Darla L. Hale Brooks, age 79, passed away at her home in Atlanta, Georgia on Sept. 21.
She was born in Maryville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Guy and Edna Hale.
She graduated from Maryville High School and the University of Tennessee. She taught at Lakeshore High School in Atlanta and later worked with the Fulton County Government.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; and her two children, Cheryl and Darnell Brooks, of Georgia; her Aunt Ruth, of Maryville; and several cousins.
Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. Friday. Graveside service will be at Magnolia Cemetery on Saturday 11:5 a.m.
