He was born in Albany, a son of Marty and Pat Wallace. A Catskill High School graduate, Eric received Associates Degrees from Hudson Valley Community College and the Golf Academy of America in Business and Marketing. He worked in various capacities including Marketing Assistant at Pete Fowler Construction Services and technical assistant at Guth DeConzo Consulting Engineers.
After living in Oceanside, California for six years, Eric came home last year. A percussionist and musician, he played in area bands. He was previously involved with Catskill Youth Soccer and the Boy Scouts of America.
Loving son of Marty and Pat Wallace, brother of Greg Wallace of Mammoth Lakes, CA, and paternal grandson of Genevieve Wallace of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Eric leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his faithful canine companion of Brady, all of whom he dearly loved.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jefferson Hgts., Catskill. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday, from the funeral home, at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 24 North Washington St., Athens at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Catskill.
