Julia was the owner of a quilt shop and was in the quilting industry for over 27 years. She was hardworking, dedicated, and loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her children; son Shawn (Adrienne) and daughter Alicia (Hernan), grandchildren; Madison, Hallie, Kaitlin, and Gabriela, siblings; sisters Arlene, Barbara (Bob), Cathy (Gary), and brother George (Debbie), and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association (referencing Julia Shirley-Murphy) as she battled with diabetes.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 11:30 am at Spangler Mortuary 799 Castro Street, Mt. View, CA, followed by an internment ceremony at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Please join us.
