Karen Ray (Loggins) Brewer, 68, of McGregor, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church, in Moody, Texas, officiated by Pastor Keith Stevens. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Karen was born in Freeport, Texas, on October 5, 1950, to Charles Ray Loggins and Mildred Faye (Wolfe) Loggins. She grew up in Angleton, Texas, and graduated from Angleton High School in 1969. She attended college for a short time at Sam Houston State College in Huntsville, Texas. Karen married her late husband, Glenn C. Brewer on December 21, 1973. She worked in the automobile industry as a title clerk for over 20 years.

Preceding Karen in death were her parents; husband, Glen; and father in law, Maurice Brewer.

Survivors include daughter, Crystal D’Anne (Brewer) Trotter; son, Glenn Ray Brewer; grandchildren, Tommy “TJ” Trotter, Jr., Cierra Trotter; great grandson, Tyler Jay Trotter; brother, Freddy Van “Buddy” Loggins and wife, Joyce; niece Ashley Dawn Loggins; nephew, Jason Van Loggins; step-father, Earlie Mask; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
