Cornelius Dikeman was born October 14, 1814, the son of Gilson and Parnel (Tuttle) Dikeman; educated in New York State; brought up a farmer; came to Fairview tp. in an early day; now lives on sec. 1. He has improved as much as 300 acres of wild land. He married Lydia Douglas, by whom he has two children living. She is a Spiritualist. Mr. Dikeman in politics is a Republican.
