HARRODSBURG - Services for Hollie R. Beasley, 81, Perryville Road, will be noon Friday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Irvin. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 5, 1916, in Washington County, he was a son of the late D.O. and Evie Stratton Beasley. He was a union worker for United Steel Co. in KeKalb, Ill., a member of Grapevine Christian Church and a member of Moose Lodge. He was the widower of Juanita Kays Beasley and Dorothy Demet Beasley.
Survivors include five sons, Donnie Beasley and Byford Beasley, both of DeKalb, Roger Beasley, Jerry Beasley and David Beasley, all of Henry County; three sisters, Margie Holiday of Sycamore, Ill., Lora Bailey of Harrodsburg, and Vertie Lambert of Louisville; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy, Kenny, Kevin, Ronnie, Danny and Mark Beasley, Johnnie Bailey and Billy Hatfield.
Honorary pallbearers are Sam Beasley, Brad Beasley and Keith Schramer.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Thursday and after 7 p.m. Friday.
