Linda Kay (Millsap) Peters December 01, 1944 - September 23, 2019
Linda Kay Peters, 74, of Mulberry, Arkansas died Tuesday, September 23, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born December 1, 1944 in Mulberry to Ralph and Lucy Graf Millsap and has lived her entire life in the Pleasant View/Mulberry School System where she worked as a cook in the cafeteria, and was a member of Mulberry Church of Christ. Linda enjoyed going to the Mulberry Senior Inn where she was a member of the Bean Bag baseball team and Dirt Dobbers. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sue Smither; and husband of fifty seven years, Wallace Peters.
Survivors include her two sons, Barry Peters and wife Rhonda and Gary Peters both of mulberry; three brothers, Joe Millsap and wife Mary of Lawton, OK, Jimmy Dale Millsap and wife Eva of Mulberry, Ronnie Millsap and wife Terri of Dyer, Arkansas; sister in law, Betty Spears and husband Roger; and two grandchildren, Brock Peters of Fort Worth, Texas and Taylor Peters of Weatherford Oklahoma, who where a special part of her life.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 26th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 27, 2019 at Mulberry Church of Christ with Brother Jim Boatwright officiating and burial at New Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers are Jeff and Doug Millsap, Tim Smither, Terry Henson, Richard Ivey, and Jeremy Stewart.
