She was born May 28, 1943 in Ottumwa to Herbert and Irene Millard McFarland. Judy married Jerry Warner on August 18, 1962.
A 1961 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Judy was an associate for 32 years at Pickwick School, retiring in 2002.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry; a daughter, Tracy (Troy) Peden of Ottumwa; 2 grandchildren, Chris Peden of Ames and Kaity (Kevin) Patterson of Ankeny; a great-grandchild, Kellen Patterson; and a brother, Mark (Cheryl) McFarland of Floris.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Cathy Dianne McFarland.
Her body has been cremated. Private graveside services and inurnment will be at Shaul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shaul Cemetery Association or Heartland Humane Society.
