Mother Geneva Martin, 67 of Eustis, Florida, received her eternal call to glory at her residence, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Mother Geneva was born to John & Geneva Martin, on October 31, 1951 in Orangeburg, SC. She was admired, and spoken of by her family as a woman who, loved the Lord, she loved to cook, and was said to be one the best cooks known; as well as a very "snappy" dresser, and one who collected antiques, and she celebrated family gatherings. Ms. Geneva was loved by all that knew her, and she will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory; Mr. Fred Griffin Sr., 2 sons, Phillip(Tonette)Martin, Maurice(Angela)Martin, 2 daughters, Tonya and Tomeka Martin, 1 brother, Johnny Martin, 1 sister, Joan Wilson, Sister-in-law, Evelyn Martin, 20 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grands, 3 stepsons, Adrian, Chris and Fred Griffin Jr., Jeanette Lambright, and Michelle, who was like a daughter, 2 God-Children, Ty"riq, and Harmony, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. A visitation service will take place Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5-7pm, at the Friendship MBC, 1405 Johnson Avenue, Eustis, Fl 32726. Celebration of Life Service is Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 11am; same location; Arrangements are entrusted into the compassionate hands of Peoples Funeral Home, 1001 E. 25th Street, Sanford, Fl 32771; Karen Y. Peoples, LFDIC. Interment: Mt. Olive Cemetery
