Curtis Wayne Burks, was born March 15, 1965, in Welch, West Virginia to Edward C. Hughes and Annie Cecilia Burks. At age 54, ihe passed on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State James Cancer Hospital.
Curtis graduated from Columbus West High School in 1984. Curtis was previously employed at Ohio State for 10 years. He was currently employed at Cap and Associates. Curtis lived a hard working successful life.
He loved having friends and family gatherings, he also loved video games, fishing, cooking, playing horse shoes, and having the fellas over to watch the game. He was one of the best to throw a kickback.
He was loved and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Preceded in death by parents, Edward C. Hughes and Annie Cecilia Burks; brother Michael Burks; nephew, Antony Sowell; and his daughter Angel Tatum.
