Amory— Donna Cummings, 52, gained her ultimate healing on Saturday, September 21, 2019. She was born in Amory on July 3, 1967 to the late Willard and Dot Cummings.

Donna was a graduate of Smithville High School. She was an assistant teacher for both Aberdeen and Hatley Schools. Donna became a truck driver in 2008 and was very proud to be a female trucker, as she was able to travel all over the country for her job. Donna attended Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church.

She cherished her children and grandchildren and her world revolved around her family. She loved keeping her grandkids and planned most of her activities around her grandson’s ballgames. In her free time, Donna enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time in the great outdoors. She was an avid fan of Ole Miss football and baseball.
Donna will be dearly missed by her friends and family, but the treasured memories she created with them will last a lifetime.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Kasey Bowling (William), of Amory; son, Jesse Dyer (Kristen), Texas; grandchildren, Will and Mahayla Bowling; brother, Terry Cummings (Lisa); and niece and nephew, Kristen and Avery Cummings.

A funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, with Rev. Rickey Bowen and Rev. Allen Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Young Memorial Gardens in Smithville. Pallbearers will include Jeff Boozer, Frank Boozer, Brad Pierce, Avery Cummings, Donald Plunkett, Michael Pierce, Johnny Cummings, Mike Cummings, Don Brazil, David Brazil, Doug Webb, Wayne Webb, Mark Tubb, Ricky Gregory, Ronnie Gregory, Danny Sheffield, and Chris Boozer.

Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5-8PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice for their exceptional care of Donna.

In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made to the Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi, specifically the Cancer Services fund, which can be found online at nmhsfoundation.org
