FUNERAL CONDUCTED FOR CHARLES GOODELL, KILLED IN TRAIN MISHAP
Funeral services were held today for Charles H. Goodell of 19 Swan Street, Green Island, who died at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy, Friday morning, after having been struck by a freight train at the Swan Street railroad crossing in that village the previous evening.
Rev. Fred C. Bennett, pastor of the Green Island Methodist Church, officiated at the services held at 2 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home, 2174 Fifth Avenue. Friends of the family acted as bearers and interment took place at Hoosick. Last evening, members of King solomon's Lodge, F.& A.M. of which Mr. Goodell was a member, visited the funeral home and conducted services.
