He was born on July 11, 1937, in Wynne, AR, to his parents, Robert and Lillian Taylor.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Judy Taylor; his son, Greg Scott; his daughter, Jill Taylor, his nine grandchildren, Josh, Kenzie, Summer, Chris, Sherell, Tracy, Addi, Luke, and Bob; and his great-grandchild, Perri.
Herbert proudly served his nation and retired from the US Army.
Interment will be held at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN, at a later announced date.
