Johnston City-Larry Spencer, 62 passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday September 27, 2019 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City.
Military rites will be conducted by the Marion V.F.W. American Legion and the Navy Burial Honors Team. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City.

Larry was born on October 18, 1956 in Danville the son of Ray and Sadie (Brewer) Spencer.
He married Debra (Rye) on September 24, 1980 in Marion. She survives.

He was a veteran proudly serving in the navy. He was a member of the Washington Ave Baptist Church of Johnston City.

He is survived by son, D Spencer and wife A of Johnston City; 3 grandchildren; a brother D Spencer of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles Spencer.
