Mary Joyce Murry, age 62, of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Murry was born on July 26, 1956 in Fayetteville, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Betty Ann Alexander. She was a faithful active member of the Revival Temple Church of God in Christ. She retired after 20 plus years as the custodian of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Murry Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Murry Sr.; children and their spouses, Melissa Murry, Timothy and Latissue Murry; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Joyce Murry will be conducted on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 12:00PM in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Murry will lie in state from 11:00AM until the service hour. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
