Marvin Lee Cole, 86, of Culpeper died Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1933 in Pulaski County to the late Robert and Vidy Bowman Cole.
Mr. Cole attended Church on the Rise. He retired from VDOT with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Laura Cole; three children, Dexter Lee Cole, Tony Marvin Cole (Melissa), and Doreen Cole, all of Culpeper; nine siblings, Libby Hawkins, Martha Cromberg, Roy Cole (Darlene), John Cole (Patty), Betty Ann Payne, Jerry Cole, Louella Cloniger, Ricky Cole (Nancy), and William Cole (Margaret.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Kevin Michael Cole, Dexter Lee Cole, Jr., Shane Michael Cole, Lena Wagner and Jennifer Wagner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jack Junior Cole; and one brother, Earin Cole.
Services will be held at a later date.
