He was called Elder in the old Morse Church, (later called the Elder Palmer Church). "Deacon Robert Fargo Died April 10th 1794 Ages 69 years". Hence he was born in the year 1725. He resided in the Town of Montville, was a farmer by occupation and Deacon of the Rev. Reuben Pulver (or Pulwers) Baptist Church, Montville... He had one brother and one sister.

2. Sgt. Moses Fargo (abt. 1730, CT-1810). Moses married Mary Turner, the daughter of Thomas Turner, on 14 Feb 1762 in Montville, CT. Mary was born on 27 Apr 1740 in New London, CT. She died on 28 Jun 1806.
