John T. McClanahan, Sr., 71, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014.
John was born August 17, 1942 at Marysville, IN, to the late Thomas H. and Mollie C. Laughlin McClanahan. He was an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam Era, retired from Atlas Machine, Louisville and a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge No 416, Old Capitol Chapter No 467 Order of Eastern Star and Milltown American Legion Post No 332.
He also was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean McClanahan.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn S. Paulin McClanahan; 3 sons, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy., 64 NW, Ramsey, IN, with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Corydon, IN. Eastern Star Memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Masonic Rites to follow. Visitation 2 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
