Barber, Fanny A. large number of friends and neighbors turned out last Saturday afternoon at the funeral of the late Mrs. Arthur Barber, to pay their last token of respect to one they had known so well. The Rev. James Ward preached a very impressive sermon from the text "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord". Forty-six years ago Fanny Graham was married to Mr. A. Barber and they moved on the farm on which she died. Five sons and one daughter survive their mother: John Barber lives at Harriston; Robert, who is a Dr., resides at Chicago; James on the old Kitchener farm, next to his father's; Arthur A. on the old Meikleham farm near by, and Bert resides with his father and their only daughter is the wife of George M. S. Smith. Mrs. Barber leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a life-long loving partner, one who was a faithful wife and mother and a good neighbor; also leaves a brother, Mr. James Graham, of Galt, and a sister Mrs. Adam Daniels, of St. Marys.
