Ettore John Bussi, 82, of Weehawken, died on Monday, December 2, 2002 at Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in New York City and was a lifelong resident of Weehawken. Before retiring in 1993, he was a tool and die maker for 43 years at Tessler & Weiss in Union, NJ and was a member of the Monferato Society in Union City. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee Umbach) Bussi. Devoted father of Candida LaMotta and John Arthur Bussi. Loving grandfather of Michael John Bussi and Theodore Travis LaMotta. Visitation was offered on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, December 4, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, NJ 07087. The funeral was arranged in the funeral home on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass conducted at 9:30 AM in Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 22 Hackensack Avenue, Weehawken, NJ 07086. Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery.
