Kathy was born to Leonard and A. Frances Desmond on March 12, 1938, in Norwich. She married her Boston College sweetheart, Vincent J Hogan, Jr. and celebrated 57 years with the love of her life, setting a beautiful example for their four children. A teacher by profession, Kathy went back to school and earned a master's degree from Westfield State College, while working and raising four teenagers. She took up golf and enjoyed playing with friends and her husband, most recently in Myrtle Beach. An active member of St Mary Catholic Church, Kathy was a member of the choir.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her children, Vinny and his wife, Sharon, Kathleen, Ann and Dan Hogan. She treasured her nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Shayna, Dan, Danielle, Nicole, Peter, Ella and Luke; and leaves sisters Mary Jane D'Elia and Frances Campbell; nieces; nephews; and many friends who love her deeply.
Kathleen will be cremated and a memorial mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
