William J. Fleming of 26 Fairfield Ave., a retired sales engineer at the Worthington Corp., died Sunday, March 9, 1980, in Providence Hospital. Born in Chamberesburg, Pa., he lived in Holyoke most of his life and graduated from the University of Rhode Island.
He leaves his wife, Esther (nee Griffin) Fleming; three sons, Bruce of Maryland, Thomas and James; three daughters, Elizabeth, Mary and Cynthia; a brother, James A. of New Jersey; a sister, Margaret Fleming of Pennsylvania, and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Wednesday at the Messier-Farrell Funeral Home with burial in St. Jerome's cemetery.
