Jacqueline F. Ray Keller, 87, Osawatomie, died Aug. 21, 2014, at Miami County Medical Center, Paola.

She was born Feb. 24, 1927, to Norman and Corine Miller Ray at Fontana. She grew up in Fontana and graduated from Paola High School with the class of 1945.

Jackie and Lewis Keller were married Sept. 25, 1948, at San Juan, Puerto Rico, and they became the parents of three children.

She worked as a secretary for several different military naval bases as she traveled about with her husband's military career in the Navy. She also worked in the school district while her husband was stationed in the Coronado area of San Diego and in Italy as well. After her husband retired from the Navy, they returned to Kansas and Jackie worked at Osawatomie State Hospital from 1976 until 1986 as a secretary.

She was a member of several bridge clubs and Delta Epsilon.

Jackie is survived by her three children and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother.
