Patrick Joseph Campbell, 54, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:08 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington after a sudden illness.

His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington with Rev. Jeffrey Stirniman officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 24 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

Memorials may be directed to Central Catholic High School, Home Sweet Home Ministries or the Campbell Children’s Education Fund c/o Busey Bank.

Patrick was born February 19, 1965 in Chicago, the son of Leonard G. and Mary B. Connolley Campbell. He married Anne K. Chamberlain on April 26, 2003 in Bloomington. She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Liam and Connor; his twin brother, Peter (Susan) Campbell of Bensenville and their children, Ryan, Sean, Daniel and Michael Campbell; his parents-in-law, Mark and Pat Chamberlain of Florida; three brothers-in-law, Michael (Brooke) Chamberlain of Newton, NC, Philip (Annette) Chamberlain of Nebo, NC and Ryan Chamberlain of Memphis, TN; six nieces and nephews, Drew, Davis, Brady, Blair, Luke and Maeve Chamberlain; and numerous other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Patrick worked at State Farm for over fifteen years, was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was a friend of Bill W.

Patrick had a passion for music and was a member of many bands over the years including Right Track and most recently Jury’s Out. He was a die-hard Chicago Cub and Blackhawk fan, but most enjoyed coaching and watching his two sons play baseball and hockey.

Patrick was a loving husband, father and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
