St. Marys—Victoria Ann Marshall, 90, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Community Hospital in St. Mary.

She was born June 9, 1929, at Emmett the daughter of Fred E. and Ethel M. Wood Rezac. Ann was raised in the Emmett community and graduated from Emmett High School.

Ann was a homemaker, farm wife, and kennel owner. She was a wonderful cook. Ann was a member of the Emmett United Methodist Church where she previously taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Jolly Workers Club.

On October 3, 1950, she was united in marriage to Laurence L. Marshall. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Fredric Rezac, Winnifred Surritt, Ethel Mae Hodge and Ramona Peck; and a granddaughter, Angela Persons.

She is survived by two sons, Stanley (Doris) and Larry D.; her daughter, Pam; a sister, Alice (Bill); eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Emmett United Methodist Church. Interment will be in St. Clere Cemetery. Ann will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2019, at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Memorials to the Emmett United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home.
