Springfield (Mo) Leader & Press, March 11, 1979--JAMES B. WRIGHT, SR--Mountain Grove--James B. Wright, Sr., 73, Hartville, died at 5:18 p.m. Friday in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, after a long illness. He had lived most of his life in the Hartville and Mountain Grove areas and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Christain Church in Pittsburg, Kan., and the Masonic Lodge No. 411 AF&AM of Hartville. Survivors include five sons, James B. Jr., of Mountain Grove, Loren of Rantoul, Kan., Eldon of San Jose, Calif., Harold of Cabool, and Verlin of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Mardell Bussard, Raytown, Mrs. Marilyn snider, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Mildred Rippee, Springfield; two brothers Chester and Albert, both of Hartville; two sisters, Miss Ruth Wright, Hartville, and Mrs. Daisy Coble, Springfield, 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Friendship Church with the Rev. Nick Salsman officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Dedmon. Masonic gravesides will be conducted. Note: Parents Mahlon and Bessie Lavena Sparks Wright.
