Josh attended Sperry Public Schools and graduated in 2015. He never ceased to amaze with his creative abilities, whether it was a beautiful drawing, a whimsical sculpture, or one of his emotion evoking short stories, poems, or songs. Josh was truly a very talented young man. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and small appliances and was known as the family’s “Mr. Fix It” when it came to TV’s Radios, etc. Josh loved gardening, wood working, and bowling, but more than anything he loved fishing with his big brother Kaleb.
He is survived by his mother, Laura Stokes of Sperry; brothers, Travis Stokes of Tulsa, Kaleb Stokes and wife Cori of Sperry and Lane Payne of Tulsa; sisters, Katie Stokes of Sperry, Abigail Thomas, Riley Thomas, Gracie Thomas, and Hanna Thomas all of Gardner, KS; brother-in-law, Matt Madding of Sperry; maternal grandparents, Gary and Emily Corley of Sperry; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
