Born in Harlan County, KY, a son of the late Charles L. and Sarah Suttles Grant, Sr., Mr. Grant retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are two sons, Sam Grant and Richard Grant; three daughters, Sandra Grant, Debra Schmidt and Kimberly Grant; two brothers, Ed Grant and Bob Grant; a sister, Sue Williams; nine grandchildren, Jessica Geise, Wayne, John, Matthew and Audrey Grant and Lillian and Harlan Baggett and Grant Parsons and Sara Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Carrie, Alaina and Drew Geise. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Grant was predeceased by a son, Tim Grant, a brother, Charles Grant, Jr., and by a sister, Janette McNabb.
Burial in Mount Calvary Holiness Church Cemetery.
