Sherry Diane Patton, 64, of Hendersonville passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her home. She was the daughter of Peggy Padgett Heatherly and the late Albert Miles Heatherly. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Heatherly Allen.
Sherry was a native of Henderson County and worked for Walmart for over 23 years. She loved fishing and playing video games. The single most important thing to her was her family.
In addition to her mother survivors include her daughter, Renae Cathcart and husband, James of Asheville; two sons, Brian Heatherly and Ronda Murray of Fletcher and Emery Worley and wife, Andrea of Candler; three sisters, Arlene Styles of Texas, Rosemary Davis of Texas, Bobbie Sue Jackson of South Carolina; one brother Jeff Heatherly of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 3:00 pm at Mountain View Baptist Church in Zirconia, NC.
