Hazel McMinn Duncan, 87, of Flat Rock passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Elizabeth House surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Roy Clyde Duncan and daughter of the late Everette and Ida Lane Harper McMinn. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roy Wayne Duncan: daughter, Suzanne Rose Duncan; brothers, Lloyd, Foy and Bobby McMinn; sisters, Blanche McGaha and husband David, Marie Bagwell, Gladys Watkins and Audrey Magness and husband Cotton; and a niece, Kay Watkins.

Hazel graduated from Hendersonville High School and Mars Hill College. She retired from the Carolina Baptist Association and attended Living Water Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Duncan of Flat Rock, Jeanette House and husband Preston of VA; sons, David Duncan and wife Tracy of Flat Rock and Bruce Duncan and wife Stacy of Fletcher; eight grandchildren, Marc Fletcher, Amanda Smith,Walt Fletcher, Drew House, Amber Neal, Matthew Duncan,Brandon Duncan, Chrissy Andrews, Elizabeth Shawver and Hannah Duncan; seventeen great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Tima Duncan and Tammy Fisher; son-in-law, Ted Fletcher; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Living Water Church.
