He was born in Lafayette county, Missouri in Feb 1849. He moved with his father, Andrew Jackson Rose and step mother, Elma Ruble Badger Rose, brother James Monroe Rose, and four step siblings to the Willamette Valley in Oregon in 1856. His mother was Lucinda Pool b: 1828 in Grayson co, VA and died June 19, 1851 in MO. He married Virginia Crabtree on Apr 9, 1870 in Linn Co, OR and Virginia died Feb 11, 1871 and is buried at the Franklin Butte Cem in Scio, OR. Thomas Jefferson or "Jeff" moved to the Spangle-Waverly area and married Julia Ann Teters on Oct 23, 1882 in Spangle, WA. They had 7 living children: Charles, Lola Etta, Edna, Ren, John, Cecilia and Bessie. Julia Ann Teters Rose died Oct 11, 1897 and is buried at the Spangle Cemetery near her father John Teters, brother Jacob Teters and sister Martha Agnes Bratt. "Jeff" (Thomas Jefferson) is buried at the Milan Cemetery next to his daughter, Edna Rose.
