Naomi Lea Puckett, 76, of Livingston died August 14, 1991 in Woodland Heights
Medical Center in Lufkin.
Interment followed in Center Grove
Cemetery.
Mrs. Puckett was born in Polk County on March 12, 1915, the
daughter of J. H. Matthews and Martha Warren Matthews, and was a life-long
resident of Polk County.
She was a member of Leggett Baptist Church. Mrs.
Puckett married Walter Newton Puckett on March 24, 1933 in
Corrigan.
Survivors include three sons, Joel Newton Puckett of Livingston,
Nadge Ray Puckett of Livingston and Onnie Lee Puckett of Baytown; one daughter,
Flaudie V Hon of Livingston; three sisters, Amy Dennis of Liverpool, Texas,
Audiev Dennis of Chester and Deedie Bryant of Livingston; five grandsons, Keith
Puckett, Kevin Puckett, Joel Wayne Puckett, Gregory Puckett and Jeffrey Puckett;
four grand-daughters, Candis Loerwald, Cindy Alexander, Karen Brackin and
Janiece Puckett; and 12 great-grandchildren, Amanda Naomi Johnson, Wesley and
Wade Puckett, Britney and Matthew Puckett, Kandyce and Kyle David Puckett Joni
Foxworth, Jinnifer and Heidi Loerwald and Shelley and Travis Brackin.
