Of Jackson, passed away January 28, 2007, age 80 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jean; and one daughter, Diane Bellew. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Judy (Mike) Weiser of Buchanan, MI, Marianne (Ken) Spicer of Grass Lake, Joe Bellew Jr. of Ann Arbor and Michael (Dawn) Bellew of Reading; seven grandchildren, Genevieve, Joshua, Zachary, Carly, Stephen, Shawn and Kelsey; three sisters and three brothers, Betty Sue, Mary Frances, Margaret, Ralph, D.C. and Ross; many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II, retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after 40 years of service, was a member of the Rose Society, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 8858 St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and an avid bowler and golfer. Mr. Bellew is at the WATSON FUNERAL CHAPEL where Prayers will be held Thursday, 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at ST. STANISLAUS KOSTKA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Andrew J. Dunne O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
Visitation Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rosary Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., directly followed by a Chalice Service.
