Carol J. Davenport, 77, of Powhatan Point, OH died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.
Carol was born in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late John and Nellie Kroll Ciszewski.
Carol was a retired bookkeeper of Big Lots in Bridgeport, OH and was the former co-owner of C & L Ceramics Shop. She was very involved when she was co-chairman of Christmas in the Village in Powhatan Point and active in Boy Scouts in California when they lived there.
She loved family gatherings, cooking and doing crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Mike Kurko.
Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, David Davenport of Powhatan Point; a son, Bernie (Kelly) Davenport of Holden, MO; a daughter, Dianne (Baron) Trigg of Bethesda, OH; sisters, Emily Kurko of Adena, OH., Anna (Rick) Johnson and Lynn (Rick) Baker both of Powhatan Point; grandchildren, Luke Lucas of Brooklyn, OH and Lacey (Taylor) Kinzy of Malaga, OH; one great grandson, Karter Kinzy; several nieces and nephews.
As per her request, there will be no visitation or services.
