In Washington County, Oregon, of typhoid fever May 12th, HIRAM C. MEEK, second son of Joseph L. Meek, aged 17 years.

Note: Cenotaph. Names of 4 children: Atchison Dallas, Hiram C., William Henry, and Josephine Meek who died prior to establishment of this church and cemetery. They are interred at the site of Methodist Meeting House (no longer in existence) near here.
