FELTON BULLOCK Felton Bullock, wife of Kenneth E. Bullock, died at her home in Laurel, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3, 2002. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Laurel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery in Jackson. Dr. Randy Turner will officiate. Mrs. Bullock was a faithful and devoted wife for nearly 53 years and the loving mother of four children, Kenneth E. Bullock Jr. of Jackson, Gregory Neil Bullock of Loganville, Ga., and Linda Carol Bullock of Port Orchard, Wash.. She also left three surviving grandchildren, Trey O'Cain, Raney Lynn Bullock and Kendall Ann Bullock. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by one son, James Randall Bullock. Mrs. Bullock, daughter of Houston and Katie Burnside, was a native of Jackson, where she attended Public Schools and was a graduate of Blue Mountain College. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by Deposit Guaranty Bank and Trust Co., of Jackson. Following her marriage, she became employed by Hibernia Bank and Trust Co., of New Orleans, while her husband attended Tulane University. The marriage of Mrs. Bullock to Kenneth Bullock occurred in 1949, in Jackson. They moved in Laurel in 1958, where Mr. Bullock practiced law, subsequently becoming associated with Gibbes, Graves, Mullins, Bullock and Ferris, until his retirement. Mrs. Bullock was a Baptist, an avid Christian and Church goer, and her favorite scripture which she often quoted at every opportunity to friends and family was, "The Lord Bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his face to you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel. In her final years, Mrs. Bullock devoted much of her time and energies to her granddaughters, Raney Lynn, who is a sophomore at Samford University, and Kendall Ann, who is a senior at Watkins High School. Pallbearers will be David Compton, Douglas Davis, Dwayne Davis, David Grantham, Mike Smith, and George L. Blackledge. Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel is in charge of the arrangements.
