Edmund "Eddie" T. Welch, 44, of rural Reedsville, died unexpectedly early Friday
morning, April 15, 2011 at her residence. Eddie was born May 25, 1966 in Manitowoc,
son of Joseph Welch and the late Margaret (Ebert) Welch. He grew up in the Grimms
area and was a 1985 graduate of Reedsville High School. Eddie has worked for the
Brillion Iron Works since 1988 and owned and operated Eddie's Hauling Service. He
was a member of the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Dept. for seven years. Eddie was an
avid John Deere Tractor collector. He enjoyed selling tickets, playing sheephead
and he loved his dogs.
Survivors include his fiance of 23 years, Mary Dallman of Reedsville, his father,
Joseph Welch of Reedsville, his paternal grandmother, Marie Welch of Kellnersville;
seven sisters and six brothers-in-law, Julie (Bill) Schuh of Reedsville, Patricia
(Mark) Haelfrisch of Reedsville, Mary Propson of Kiel, Amy (Craig) Fischer of
Manitowoc, Jennifer (John) Schwahn of Reedsville, Melissa (Heath) Kersten of Denmark,
Rose (Joshua) Frank of Green Bay, his fiance's parents, Henry (Bernita) Dallman of
Brillion, his fiance's sisters and their husbands, Jodie Braden of Brillion, Beth
(Gary) Dietrich of Collins, Julia (Ken) Kohlman of New Holstein, Cindy Dallman of
Manitowoc and her special friends, Mark Gerhartz, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Welch, his maternal grandparents,
John and Margaret Ebert, his paternal grandfather, Edmund Welch and many other
relatives.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 19 at St. Michael Catholic Church in
Whitelaw. The Rev. David Zimmerman celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial with
burial following at St. Patrick Cemetery, Maple Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations would be appreciated in Eddie's name. The Reinbold Pfeffer Family Funeral
