Margaret M. Welch, age 65, of Reedsville, died peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at her residence.
Margaret was born Jan. 6, 1943, in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late John and Margaret Schamburek Ebert.
She graduated from Reedsville High School with the class of 1961. On Aug. 4, 1962, Margaret married Joseph Welch, her high school sweetheart and prom king of 1960 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw.
Margaret and her husband Joe worked their family farm together. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was very proud of her children and grand-children and was looking forward to having more grandchildren and future great-grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed reading, music, doing crafts, going on bus trips and the Green Bay Packers. She loved going to her grandchildren's basketball and baseball games.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law: Edmund Welch; two brothers: Jack Ebert and Eddie Ebert; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Daniel Welch, Eugene Welch, Rose Ann Welch, Thomas Welch; two nieces: Marla Wallander and Christine Bowersock; one great nephew: Terrence Ebert.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Dave Zimmerman will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove.
Relatives and friends may call St. Michael Catholic Church from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the Welch
family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Margaret's name.
